Ascot United have agreed a deal which will see Nathan Minhas move to National League South side Billericay Town at the end of the year, say the Maidenhead Advertiser.

The clubs have thrashed out a two-year deal for the player, who will remain on loan with the Yellamen until the end of the season. A club statement released on Saturday said this was a condition the player insisted upon himself, ‘reflecting his commitment to the squad and management team’

It went on to say he remains focused on the current season and is desperate to keep the Yellamen in the promotion hunt in the Hellenic Premier Division. The deal will also include a pre-season friendly between the two clubs, played at The Racecourse Ground ahead of next season.

First team manager Jamie Tompkins said: “We are delighted to see Nathan sign for Billericay Town and we would like to congratulate him on a thoroughly deserved move after the number of fantastic performances he has displayed since joining the club back in July.”
