Atherton Collieries manager Brad Cooke has agreed a new contract with the club.

The Northern Premier Division club say Cooke has signed a two-year extension.

The former Colls captain was back as manager in December 2019 following Michael Clegg’s departure for Ashton United.

The team were in 9th place in the table this season, with 13 points from their eight games.

Cooke, who made 265 appearances for the club, scoring 40 goals, had been in charge at West Didsbury & Chorlton before returning to Colls.
