Aveley have completed the signing of defender Jack Isherwood.

Jack started his career at Stevenage Borough and featured for Bishops Stortford before making the move to Stansted in the Essex Senior League.

At Stansted he played at right back and done very well there also scoring one goal in five appearances in his first season back in 2015/16. He continued his fine form for Stansted into the 2016/17 campaign and now joins the Millers after a very impressive pre-season.

Millers Boss, Terry Spillane was happy with this signing after beating other clubs to Jack’s signature.

“He’s ex-Stansted and a good prospect. A few clubs were in for him as well. He’s a defender, who played at right back for Stansted, and has done really well in pre-season.”
