Aveley have signed up attacking midfielder Jason Raad for the upcoming 2019/20 season.
Raad joined the Millers from Harlow Town in the middle of October of last year and made a fantastic impact, scoring on his debut away from home at Great Wakering Rovers in the Essex Senior Cup.
His season was almost cut short after his hernia operation in January, but Raad came back with a bang and showed his quality away at Heybridge Swifts, where he scored with a brilliant free-kick and back-post header to win the game 2-1.
Prior to joining Harlow Town, the young South African player spent his time playing for Cape Town City and Supersport United before moving to the United Kingdom.
Manager Danny Dafter said: “I’m really pleased we have secured Jason’s signature for the season. Now he’s fully recovered from his double hernia operation he will be a force to be reckoned with this time round.”
