Sutton United boss Matt Gray has given a further update on two squad members.

With Paul Doswell’s long tenure coming to an end, it is a time of change for the club this summer. New manager Gray provided an explanation behind the latest couple of changes when he spoke to the club website.

‘’As supporters will be aware, Jonah Ayunga was placed on the transfer list last week, and I can confirm that he has now left the club. In addition, we have been in contract talks since the end of the season with Roarie Deacon, who rejoined us in February, but we have been unable to agree terms and so those talks have now concluded.

“On behalf of everyone at the club, I’d like to thank Jonah and Roarie for their efforts for Sutton United and wish them all the best for the future. I’m continuing to work to improve the squad, and I hope to be able to have news of some incoming signings shortly, while we will be announcing our pre-season friendly schedule within the next couple of days.’’
