Slough Town joint-manager Neil Baker hopes that Paul Hodges will return to the club next season.

The versatile attacking player has this week re-signed for former club Woking, with the Cards’ National League season currently continuing.

The move comes with Slough’s National League South campaign having been brought to an early finish, and joint-boss Baker told the club’s website:

“With our season now finished, we were asked this week by Alan Dowson if we would allow Paul Hodges to join Woking until the end of the season to help boost their squad.

“We of course gave our permission straight away, and hope that he gets some games under his belt between now and the end of the season.

“It is our hope that Hodgey will return to the Rebels once the season has finished for Woking.”
