Dagenham & Redbridge’s Angelo Balanta has extended his contract, in a deal that ties him to the club until 2022.
The 29-year-old forward joined just under a year ago from Boreham Wood and has been a vital part of the side ever since. The former QPR trainee has made 40 appearances for the Daggers to date, scoring 13 goals.
Balanta leads the Daggers’ scoring charts this season, finding the back of the net on six occasions.
Peter Taylor gave his thoughts:
“I’m absolutely delighted to secure Angelo on a longer contract at the Daggers. I’ve known him for a long time, having had him as an 18-year-old at Wycombe on loan, so I knew what potential he had, and he’s certainly showing his real ability now! Everybody at the football club is delighted that we get to enjoy him out on the pitch for that much longer.”
