The Squires Gate squad has had a shake-up over the past week or so, with three departing and one arriving.

The Hallmark Security League Premier side have bid farewell to defender Paul Carroll, attacker Mark Buchan and winger Tarren Moxon. Left-back Seydou Bamba, meanwhile, has returned for his fifth spell at the club.

Carroll joined at the start of last season from AFC Blackpool and has been an ever-present in football on the Fylde coast for the past ten years with Squires Gate and AFC. He has made 27 appearances for the first team this season across the back four, picking up three Man of the Match awards in the process.

Another experienced player leaving the club, albeit on dual registration, is Mark Buchan. Buchan has joined Kendal Town in the Evo Stik North, making his debut from the bench in Saturday’s defeat at Colwyn Bay. He has made 29 appearances this season, scoring 7 goals.

Tarren Moxon will stay signed on but away from football is joining the RAF, so his availability will be limited. ‘Taz’ has made 26 appearances this season, scoring 4 goals.

Joining the club for his fifth spell is Seydou Bamba. A familiar face around The Brian Addison Stadium, Seydou joins from AFC Darwen.
