Barnet manager John Still has acted swiftly in the transfer market having snapped up Cheye Alexander from Aldershot Town as well as striker Jack Barham from Greenwich Borough.
The duo have signed two-year deals at the Hive as the Bees prepare for life back in the National League after being relegated from League 2 last season.
Full-back Alexander joins from National League rivals Aldershot having been a regular for the Shots last season, scoring twice in 45 appearances as Gary Waddock’s men finished in 5th place in the table.
Alexander left the Shots at the end of the campaign after three seasons with the club and now moves to the Hive, where he will be hoping to be part of a promotion challenge with the Bees next season.
The full-back came through the ranks at West Ham United and after leaving the Hammers, he went on to enjoy spells with Port Vale, Concord Rangers and Bishop’s Stortford prior to joining the Shots.
