Barnet have turned to former manager Paul Fairclough to help provide ‘technical support’ while the club consider their next managerial appointment.

Tim Flowers’ departure was confirmed this week after three months at the helm, leaving the Bees to ponder a successor to the ex-England man.

Fairclough, who managed the club from 2004 to 2008, as well as a number of caretaker spells, will work with head of performance Gary Anderson for ‘the next two to three matches’.

Barnet say they hope the England C boss will help provide some ‘positive momentum’.
