Barrow AFC manager Paul Cox has brought Nick Wilmer-Anderton back to the club for the rest of the season, while moving for Luton Town midfielder Andy Parry on an initial one-month loan.

Twenty-year old Preston North End full-back Wilmer-Anderton, whose previous loan ended last Saturday, served the final game of his four-match ban for his Lincoln City dismissal by missing Preston’s Tuesday night win at Bristol City.

He now joins on a youth loan until the end of the season.

Parry, 24, won promotion from the National League with the Kenilworth Road outfit and there are hopes a longer-term deal can be negotiated.

Following receipt of FA ratification of paperwork on Thursday evening, both are eligible for the FA Trophy tie at FC Halifax Town tomorrow.
