Barrow AFC have announced the signing of experienced striker Ross Hannah from league rivals Chester FC.
Hannah, who turned 30 on Saturday, joins the Bluebirds after turning down a deal to stay
at Chester where he scored 23 goals in forty-two games last season.
The Sheffield-based forward was a late developer and was 25 before he earned his first professional contract with Bradford City.
This came after three seasons at Matlock Town where he scored 90 goals in his last two years.
This earned a move to Bradford City.
He was loaned to Grimsby Town which resulted in a permanent move the following season.
He scored 19 goals in two years with the Mariners before being released in 2015, when he signed a one-year deal at Chester.
Hannah joins Barrow on a two-year contract.
