Barrow AFC have announced the signing of Tony Diagne ahead of their Vanarama National League trip to face Sutton United.
The former Morecambe, Lincoln and Macclesfield defender, 27, joins on non-contract terms.
Diagne spent his youth career at Nottingham Forest before returning to France. In 2011 he joined Macclesfield Town, then of League 2, and made over 80 appearances for the Moss Rose side, scoring six goals.
He then made the move to Morecambe, after a spell on loan at Lincoln City, where he made over 30 appearances.
In 2014 he signed a two year deal at Lincoln, before being loaned back to former club Macclesfield Town.
He spent last season at Hemel Hempstead Town, playing over 30 times and scoring twice.
With several Bluebirds defenders out with injuries, he is eligible for tomorrow’s game at Gander Green Lane against Sutton United.
