Barrow AFC have announced the signing of midfielder Asa Hall.

The experienced 30-year-old began his career with Birmingham City in 2004, and moved on loan to Boston united, Ashford Town and Shrewbury Town.

In 2008, Hall transferred to Luton Town, scoring 15 times in seventy-four games for the Hatters.

He won the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy in the 2008/09 season, before being relegated following the club entering Administration.

The following season, Hall helped Luton reach the play-off semi-finals when they narrowly missed out to York City.

Hall moved on to Oxford United following the club`s promotion back into the Football League where he played seventy-five times, scoring 11 times.

Hall’s next move was to Shrewsbury Town in 2012, making thirty-two appearances before being loaned out to Aldershot Town and Oxford United.

He joined Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2014, getting promoted back into the Football League in the 2015/16 season.

Hall was then loaned to York City in the second half of last season.

Hall becomes manager Paul Cox’s fourth signing of the summer to date.
