Barrow have announced the signing of striker, Jordan White.
White, 25, has joined the Bluebirds on a one year deal, with an appearance-based second year option.
The 6ft 4 attacker began his senior career at Dunfermline, and had spells with Clyde and Dumbarton, before settling at Stirling Albion where he scored 28 goals in 65 appearances. During his spell at Stirling, White collected numerous Player of the Year awards and was the club’s top goalscorer in both his seasons there.
He departed Albion in the summer of 2014, and joined Livingston. He was the top goalscorer in both his seasons at the club, and once again won various Player of the Year awards, along with the Scottish Challenge Cup.
White left Livingston last summer, and joined fellow National League side, Wrexham. White finished as their top goalscorer in last season’s campaign.
He was released by Wrexham at the end of the season, and today he becomes Paul Cox’s first signing of the summer for Barrow.
