Barrow have given injury updates to six of their players as they look to make a challenge for the Vanarama National League play-offs.
Andy Parry, Joel Dixon and Dan Cockerline are all progressing well from ACL injuries and are scheduled for four days of intense rehabilitation later this month.
Top scorer Byron Harrison has begun functional work on his left ankle and he continues to improve. Following a second scan that revealed positive signs, the consultant advised the club to push through rehabilitation and test the ankle.
Danny Livesey took a knock to the head on Saturday and after being reassessed at half time, had to come off with concussion symptoms. The club are now following the Gradual Return to Play (GRTP) Protocol.
Matty Platt took two kicks to the knee on Saturday and experienced swelling above the knee. Following assessment, no serious damage was found and the swelling began to subside after treatment. After consultation with Blackburn, they were happy for him to train and play this week.
