Goalkeeper Andy Firth has re-united with his former under-18 coach at Liverpool, Steven Gerrard, by signing for Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers.
Firth moves to Ibrox from Vanarama National League side Barrow AFC for an undisclosed fee, although he requires international clearance.
Ripon-born Firth rose through the Liverpool academy system whilst having spells on loan at Witton Albion and then-National League side Chester FC.
He left Anfield in the summer of 2018 and joined Barrow in July, making his debut on the opening day of the season against Havant & Waterlooville.
Firth made 18 appearances for the Bluebirds.
