Barrow AFC manager Paul Cox has made his second addition to his squad with the capture of prolific midfield goalscorer Bradley Bauress.
Bauress, a left-sided midfielder with the versatility to play in an attacking or defensive role, joins the Bluebirds from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Witton Albion.
Bauress, 21, is a former youth player at Blackburn Rovers, becoming a regular in their under-21 side and making over fifty appearances in all competitions, eventually becoming under-21 captain.
Following a spell at Colwyn Bay, he moved to Witton at the start of last season.
A very impressive season for the Cheshire side saw him net 27 goals, including two goals against fellow National League side Chester FC in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Barrow chief scout, Paul Ogden explained that Barrow beat off interest from several other clubs to land Bauress on a one-year contract.
