Striker Jack Hindle will remain with Barrow AFC next season, after the club exercised the option to retain the 25-year-old for another year.

Hindle finished as the Bluebirds’ top scorer in the 2018/19 campaign with 12 goals to cap what was a successful first season at Holker Street after signing from Colwyn Bay last summer.

In what was his first year in the National League, Hindle’s highlights include scoring both goals in AFC’s first away win under Ian Evatt, at Dover Athletic, and the winner at Eastleigh, who came within a penalty shoot-out of reaching the promotion final on Sunday.
