Jordan White and Calum Macdonald will be sidelined for Barrow AFC’s crucial National League match with Eastleigh tonight – and possibly for longer.
The duo both picked up injuries in Saturday’s 4-1 defeat against Leyton Orient – a result which saw AFC fall into the bottom-four. White – in his first start for the Bluebirds since the 1-0 win at Maidstone United in February – required stitches after a nasty clash of heads with team-mate Moussa Diarra at Brisbane Road early in the second half.
Derby County loanee Macdonald managed to play the full 90 minutes in East London, but he has a groin problem that will see him miss at least tonight’s game and Saturday’s visit of Ebbsfleet United to Holker Street. Barrow will also be without full-back Dan Jones for the Eastleigh game, after he was dismissed in the second half for a second bookable offence.
