Striker Jacob Blyth has left Barrow AFC after negotiations over a new contract with the club were ended.

Blyth spent one season at Holker Street after signing on a free transfer last summer, which followed a year out of the game due to a range of injuries that had plagued him.

His Bluebirds career was delayed by a dislocated shoulder suffered in his first pre-season friendly for the club, but once he was able to regain fitness, he went to score three goals in 25 appearances.

His campaign was unfortunately ended prematurely by a hamstring injury suffered against Eastleigh on March 16.
