Barton Town have appointed Nathan Jarman as their new manager.
Jarman will be joined at the club by fellow former Grimsby Town forward Danny North, who has been named assistant manager.
They take over at a team who were 9th in this season’s NCEL Premier Division after getting to play 11 of their fixtures.
Jarman, 34, told the club’s website: “The chairman and directors want progression as a club and I want to win. I want us to win at all costs and win as many as we can.
“We’re going to aim as high as possible. Fans can expect our playing style to mirror my traits as a player: hard working, aggressive, win at all costs.
“We’ll be well prepared and work on formations and set-pieces.”
