Former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has signed for Barwell.
The 32-year-old former Manchester United youngster had signed for Halesowen Town at the end of July, having played for AFC Telford United and former Wolves teammate Rob Edwards last season. At his peak, Ebanks-Blake struck 25 league goals to fire Mick McCarthy’s Wolves into the Premier League in 2008/09.
He went on to play three seasons in the top flight. The ex-Chesterfield man was straight into the action for Barwell last night, starting the 2-1 win over Banbury United in the Evo-Stik South Central Premier Division.
