Basford United face a busy Easter weekend with two games in less than 48 hours.

Needing just one point to secure promotion from the Evo Stik Northern Premier League Division One South they travel to Market Drayton on Saturday (3.00) followed by the short trip to Carlton Town on Monday for a 12:30pm start.

Boss Martin Carruthers said:

“It’s a huge weekend for the club and hopefully we can get the job done on Saturday and it would be great to be promoted so early going into the Carlton game. As always we will be focusing on the job in hand and we will try and manage the squad to give us the best chance to win both games.”

Ash Grayson is out injured but Saul Deeney is expected to recover from a back injury.
