Basford United chairman Chris Munroe is in no doubt that the Nottinghamshire footballing public can massively influence Basford’s chances of success this Saturday in their FA Trophy game.

Basford are at Greenwich Avenue this Saturday (3pm) against National League North side Curzon Ashton and eyeing a cup upset as they bid to reach the last 32 of the competition, the visitors playing one level above Basford.

Munroe said: “The way the fixtures have fallen means all three professional clubs in the county are away this Saturday.

“We are promoting high value and low admission prices, with £9 adults and £6 concessions. The family offer at £15 for families of four is high value.”

Basford go into the games with 9 wins in 11 homes games this season and are currently on an eight game unbeaten run in all competitions.

The Greenwich Avenue ground is just 100 metres from the Highbury Vale tram stop and is easily accessible.
