Basingstoke Town have welcomed Tobi Adekunle to the club after signing on a dual registration contract with Wessex League Premier side Team Solent.
While mostly playing out wide, he is also capable of playing through the middle and has been a regular this season, starting 23 out of 27 league games and contributing 8 goals. He also scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for Team Solent in last season’s Wessex League Cup final.

Before signing for Team Solent, Adekunle spent time with Sholing and as a youngster was part of the academies at Millwall, Reading and QPR before his release in 2013 while also trialling with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham. His signing bolsters the attacking areas of Terry Brown’s squad and could be in line to make his debut on Saturday at home to table topping Chippenham Town.
