Basingstoke Town have signed striker Mitchell Parker.
The 24-year-old has played for Reading City and Flackwell Heath.
Manager Terry Brown said: “Mitchell is a born goalscorer. His goals-per-game ratio is quite incredible and we are hoping he can make the step up and get a similar return at this level.
“He showed a real want to come here and it’s been quite an easy process, whilst we know there was a lot of interest from other clubs, I think this club is a really good fit for him. He’ll join an already impressive front line that we have here and whilst he knows there are parts of his game we are going to work on, he is going to be a valuable asset to us this year and hopefully a long time after.”
Parker said: “I wanted to sign for Basingstoke as they have the same ambition as I have. I want to help Basingstoke push forward and continue to improve my game in the process.
“I’m extremely excited to get going, I’ll always do my best to help the team push as high as we possibly can.”
