Bath City forward Donovan Wilson is to sign for Sutton United following his loan spell with the club.

The former Wolves youngster linked up with The U’s back in March, with Bath’s season having been brought to an early conclusion in the National League South.

After contributing seven goals as Sutton went on to secure the National League title, the 24-year-old will now remain with Matt Gray’s side as they go into League Two.

Gray told the club’s website: “I’d like to thank Bath City and Jerry Gill for their co-operation over the last three months, firstly with the loan signing and now in making Donovan’s move permanent.

“They have been a pleasure to deal with. We knew when Donovan joined us on loan that we had a top player, and he showed that with the number of crucial goals he scored in the championship run-in.”
