Bedford Town have sealed the signing of Ronayne Marsh-Brown.
Ronayne is a 32 year old defender who plays predominately at left back.
Marsh-Brown started his career as a school boy at Brentford, before being offered professional contracts at Gillingham and Reading.
However, he decided instead to go to Holland and join RKC Wallwijk under Martin Jol. Following three years in Holland, Ronayne moved on to Bruges in Belgium before returning to the English Football League with Crawley.
Spells at Macclesfield and MK Dons under Paul Ince then followed, before moving into non-league with Welling, Maidenhead, Harrow Borough, Lewes and winning the Ryman Premier League with Sutton United.
The defender this morning completed his transfer from Chalfont St Peter, where he has been this season. His registration at the Southern League and clearances have gone through and Ronayne will be available this afternoon for the visit of Barton Rovers.
Eagles manager Jon Taylor stated “The signing of Ronayne will not only bolster the squad, but will also give us invaluable experience defensively. In addition to this, he also brings good leadership on the pitch and will help and encourage the younger players. His presence and strength will be important for our push to the playoffs and longevity for next season.”
