Bedford Town have reached an agreement for Derek Ubah to join Cambridge City on a month’s loan deal, while striker Scott Joseph has also been allowed to discuss a move to the Lilywhites on a dual registration basis, as both look to get valuable game time in.

Manager Jon Taylor commented: “Obviously we’re disappointed things have not worked out for Del so far this season. We have no intention of losing him, he is a talented lad and has a good future ahead of him. However, his performances have fallen behind where we need him to be and hopefully some game time at this level with Cambridge will help him out immensely.”

Taylor continued: “The same goes for Scott Joseph. We would love him to remain involved and regain the confidence he was showing in the early stages of preseason. However, he needs game time. Sending him to a good club at this level will only help us, giving him the option to return later in the season.”
