Bedworth United manager Stuart Storer has recieved the backing of the club’s board of directors.
The club currently sit in the relegation zone of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier League and have won only one of their last five games.
However the board of directors released a statement, confirming their support for their manager.
It read “The statement read The board fully understands supporters frustrations during what has recently been a very difficult season for the football club. As a result, the board met and discussed at length the manager Stuart Storer and his backroom staff’s positions and the problems the team have faced this season.
A high number of injuries have affected our squad with the team then being restricted to only flashes of good form, however we can assure supporters everything practical is being done to correct the situation for the future.
The Directors are fully committed to the long term stability of Bedworth United FC and therefore decided to give their full support to Stuart and his staff and requested he continue in his role with Jamie and Andy in developing the clubs potential.
We hope this statement clarify’s the board’s position and we would request the fans of the club continue to be supportive of Stuart and his coaching staff and all players who pull on a shirt for the Greenbacks”
