Evo-Stik South club Belper Town have appointed former Burton Albion defender Aaron Webster as their new manager, with ex-Watford and Sheffield United midfielder Lee Williamson coming in as assistant.
With the Nailers currently 12th in the division, they may be opting to give a chance to young coaches but it is a duo with vast experience in the game. Webster, 36, spent 15 years with Burton Albion, making over 500 appearances (scoring over 100 goals) as the Brewers successfully made it into the Football League and began their climb even further up the leagues.
35-year-old Williamson, a fellow Derby native and another ex-Burton player, figured for various league sides after starting out at Mansfield Town and he played as high as the Premier League (with Watford in 2006/07). The Jamaica-capped former midfielder also had spells with the likes of Rotherham United, Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers.
Webster has been working with the Community Trust at his old club as the football and education first-team manager.
