Bideford AFC have confirmed that a number of “indefinite” banning orders have been handed to some individuals following incidents at the end of their home game against Hereford.

A club statement said “Following an internal investigation into the minor disorder at the end of the home game verses Hereford FC on Saturday 11th March 2017 the club can confirm that indefinite banning orders have been implemented. Warnings of future behaviour have also been issued.

Bideford AFC are satisfied that this was a ‘one off’ incident, instigated by people who do not normally watch our team. Bideford AFC would like to thank our stewards and the extra security employed for the day who dealt with the problem very quickly and efficiently.

Bideford AFC will keep the security report and available footage on file and could refer back to it in the event of any future incident”
