Dean Brennan believes Torquay United will prove to be one of Billericay Town’s biggest challengers for the National League South title this season, report the Basildon Standard.
Town will make the trip to Plainmoor for an exciting encounter tomorrow.
And Brennan, whose side came from two goals behind to beat East Thurrock United and climb back to the top of the standings in midweek, believes Torquay are a club that should still be in the Football League.
“These are the games you want to be involved in,” said the Billericay boss.
“Whether we are playing East Thurrock or Torquay, we always look forward to the games.
“But we are top of the tree at the moment and that’s where I’m sure Torquay want to be and will be aiming to get to come the end of the season.”
