Alan Julian believes Billericay Town have recruited well ahead of the new season.
Billericay’s National League South campaign – following their Isthmian Premier League title win last term – gets underway this weekend.
And Town’s first choice goalkeeper believes Harry Wheeler’s charges are in a strong position heading into the clash with Truro City on Saturday.
Julian said: “Pre-season has been good. I honestly feel we are stronger than this time last year.
“It will be harder, but we have recruited well and that can only be good.
“We have brought in the likes of Scott Doe, Ben Gerring and Moses Emmanuel, who I won the National League South with before.
“I played with Callum Kennedy at Gillingham and he lives around the corner from me, so we share lifts and that is a big help.”
