Evesham United defender Liam Harding has joined Bishop’s Cleeve on loan in a bid to regain fitness after an injury nightmare, report Gloucestershire Live.

Harding, who was wanted by Swindon Supermarine in the summer, battled back from a 13 month absence following surgery on one knee, only to suffer damage to the cartilage in his other during pre-season, further delaying his return to action.

But after coming through a training session well last Thursday, Evesham boss Paul Collicutt has sent him to neighbouring Hellenic League Premier Division club Cleeve to build his match sharpness.
