The Ossett Town squad for the 2016/17 season is taking shape at Ingfield and Grant Black has announced that every one of the squad he wanted to sign on the dotted line have done so.

Alex Peterson and Anthony Mackie, both playing a key role in the successful end to last season have signed on despite interest from many clubs since the season ended.

Since the season ended Black has not taken a break and has been inundated with requests from players who want to join the side and Black has looked at those and some will be invited to pre-season training where they will add to a squad that is full of confidence and looking up the league table for the season ahead.

The only blow has been the loss of Dan Monfredi who has suffered a knee injury and is likely to miss most of the season. Monfredi was an integral part of the squad as the season came to a close and will be missed on the pitch.

One player departing the club is Danny Frost, leaving Black with the job of appointing a new captain for the new season.
