Blackburn Rovers youngster Lewis Thompson has extended his loan spell at FC United of Manchester until Saturday 15th December.
The youngster joined the National League North side in September for a month before the deal was extended for a further 30 days.
Following some impressive displays, with Thompson scoring one of the goals in the Conference North side’s victory over Hereford at the weekend, the teenager will remain with the Greater Manchester side for a further month.
Thompson will be eligible to play for the Red Rebels in the FA Trophy.
Meanwhile, fellow Rover Lewis Mansell will return to the club following the end of his loan spell with FCUM.
The forward scored a couple of times during his stay with the club, the latest of which came in the recent 3-0 win over Blyth Spartans.
