Leatherhead have confirmed that chairman Richard Bligh has opted to step down.
The Tanners made the announcement as part of a club statement this afternoon, which reads as follows:
The Board would like to advise that Richard Bligh has decided to step down as Chairman of Leatherhead Football Club for personal reasons however, will continue in his role as Director and also Membership Secretary. The Board would like to thank Richard for his time and efforts as Chairman. Daniel Hodges has agreed to take up the role as Chairman. These changes take place with immediate effect.
We are also pleased to announce that John Dean has accepted our offer to join the board as a Director. He brings with him his vast business experience and football club knowledge gained during his time at Crystal Palace.
