Torquay United bring the curtain down on our home fixtures at the weekend with the visit of Barrow.

There is sure to be a great atmosphere inside The Launa Windows Stadium and popular front-man, Nathan Blissett, can’t wait to be part of it.1024px-Torquay United FC.svg1

Since arriving at the club in January, the 25 year-old has gone on to notch six goals in just 15 games and is a firm favourite amongst the Yellow Army.

“I am delighted how things have gone since I joined the club,” he said. “The Gaffer put a lot of faith in me and I am glad that I have been able to help us get over the line.

“It was a tough ask when I first got here, but the Gaffer was steadfast in his belief that we would be okay and it’s transferred itself to the players.

“Everyone is happy with what we have achieved, but there is always room for improvement and we want to end on two big performances – starting on Saturday.

“The supporters deserve it; they have been a joy to play in front of and their backing has been unwavering. They have really played their part and it will be great to hear them in full voice on Saturday.”
