Chris Kinnear admits Dover may move to bolster their attacking options after losing Jamie Allen for the rest of their National League campaign.

The 22-year-old striker signed from Southport on a two-year deal in May but will not play again this season after being told he needs operations on both hips.

Leaders Whites also face losing fellow striker Tobi Sho-Silva for up to three months after his recent knee operation and boss Kinnear said: “Jamie Allen’s got to have separate operations on each hip so he won’t play this season at all. Hopefully he’ll be fit for next season.”
