Chester FC have completed the signing of defender Myles Anderson on a deal until the end of the season.
The Blues have also announced that a sponsor is to fund the wages and expenses of Anderson until the end of the campaign. Whilst the sponsor wishes to remain anonymous at this moment, Chester FC say they are ‘most grateful for their generous offer and for their amazing support of our club at this difficult time.’
Anderson arrives back at the Swansway following his release from Torquay United, having been on loan with the Blues since November. The 27-year-old was a pivotal part of the Gulls’ escape from the drop last season and made seven appearances this term for the Devon-based side.
Starting his career at Leyton Orient, the centre-back then moved on to Aberdeen, before Blackburn Rovers. He has also had spells in Italy with Monza, Chievo and L’Aquila.
