With Ross Fitzsimmons having been recalled by Bolton Wanderers, Bishop`s Stortford have signed goalkeeper Andrew Dawber on loan from Championship side Fulham for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old goes straight into the squad for today’s home game against high-flyers Maidstone United at the ProKit UK Stadium

The Wigan-born stopper signed a one-year deal with his parent club in the summer following his release by Accrington Stanley.

During his stint with Accrington, Dawber had training spells with Manchester United and Liverpool.

Earlier this season, Dawber had a loan spell in the National League with Aldershot Town.
