TJ Bohane, who scored 47 goals in 44 games in the Uhlsport Hellenic League last season, has decided to move from Bracknell to Evo-Stik Southern League Swindon Supermarine.
The Swindon Advertiser reports Marine manager Dave Webb believes the time is right for TJ Bohane to prove himself in the Southern League. The 29-year-old has been a prolific goalscorer in the Hellenic League over the last few years and has reunited with Dave Webb after following him to the Webbswood Stadium five years ago. Following the retirement of John Fisher, Bohane joined Bracknell Town last term and netted 44 goals.
“When we first got the job here five years ago we brought TJ with us, he has matured a lot since then,” Webb said. “We started speaking a couple of weeks ago and he was really keen to join us. He is a proven goalscorer and the time is right for him to give this league another go. He scored 44 goals with Bracknell last year and he scored a lot for Highworth before that. I think we have been missing a player like TJ since Luke Hopper left us (in December 2015).”
