Cheltenham Town striker Dan Holman has today joined Vanarama National League club Boreham Wood on loan.
Holman, 27, will make the move to Meadow Park immediately ahead of the club’s home clash with Ebbsfleet United this weekend.
Robins manager Gary Johnson said: “I’ve had a long chat with Dan and believe going out on loan to get games is the best option for him.
“Dan was out for several months last season, where he missed a lot of football, and has also spent the last two or three weeks with us looking to overcome injury.
“We’ve made the decision that he would be better suited going out and getting games now rather than training and trying to force his way back in.
“Boreham Wood can guarantee him games and it’s a short-term loan where we have the option to recall him after a month. If he gets games and goals then we will reassess it.”
