It’s been a promising season for Boreham Wood so far as they sit in seventh position in the Vanarama National League, just five points behind the play-off places.
After Tuesday night’s 1-0 home win over Sutton United, the Wood travel to bottom of the table Guiseley on Saturday as they look to move within touching distance of the play-off spots.
Their form has been thanks to the eye-catching form of a number of their players, including the likes of in-form striker Morgan Ferrier, who has eight goals so far this campaign.
Several of the club’s squad have been linked with moves to National League rivals and Football League clubs, with the Wood refusing the either confirm or deny they have received bids for any members of their squad.
However a club spokesman confirmed that they “have no intention” of selling any members of their squad.
The spokesman commented “We’re only just in November and there really is absolutely nothing to comment on at this stage.
“All Chairman seem to talk, all managers seem to talk but any rumours regarding any of our players attracting interest, may well be down to a bit of mischief making from either a players agent, or one or two visiting scouts who can get a bit chatty and premature.
“As far as the club is concerned, the changing room is happy, the January transfer window is still a long way away, and at this stage with things ticking along nicely, we have no intention of selling anyone”
