Nuneaton Town have added to their defensive options with the capture of Brad Gascoigne from league rivals Alfreton Town.
Coming through the ranks at Birmingham City, Gascoigne moved on to Ilkeston FC having found his path to the first-team blocked at St Andrews.
Linking up with Corby Town for the first time in 2014, he had a spell with Hereford United before being re-signed for the Steelmen by current Boro boss Tommy Wright and helping them secure the Southern Premier Division title.
He has also given service to the likes of Sutton United, Stalybridge Celtic, Rushall Olympic, Worksop Town, Stamford AFC and Buxton.
“With the injury to Conor Anderson, we felt that we needed extra options at the back,” said Wright. “I have worked with Brad before and I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with him again.
“He’s tall, technically-gifted and works hard. With game time, he will prove everyone his capabilities”.
