Bradford Park Avenue have re-signed Nicky Boshell and registered brother Danny ahead of the start of the 2017-18 National League North campaign.
Assistant manager Danny was always expected to sign as a player to accompany his coaching duties, however brother Nicky has been on trial with the club this summer.
He was with Avenue last term, but finished the season out injured and was invited to prove his fitness to manager Mark Bower.
Bower has been impressed with the midfielder in training and in the pre-season matches, with the left-footer scoring twice in the friendlies so far.
The 30-year-old returned to the Horsfall Stadium last summer again from Guiseley, having yo-yoed between the two clubs since first leaving Avenue in 2012.
Boshell had spent the prior two seasons at Nethermoor under Bower, scoring eight goals in 35 appearances as Mark Bower’s side won promotion to the National League.
In the 2015-16 season, Boshell made 31 appearances in non-league’s top flight, netting four goals as they defeated the odds to avoid relegation on the final day.
In total, across three spells with Avenue, Boshell has made 123 appearances and netted 17 goals.
