Leatherhead have today parted company with manager Sammy Moore and assistant Jack Midson.
A statement from the Bostik Premier club on the former AFC Wimbledon duo reads:
‘We would like to thank them for all their work at the club helping us to 6th place finish, 2nd Round of the FA Cup and runners up in the Surrey Cup. We have been on a journey from the appointment that raised a few eyebrows at the time, we have worked tirelessly together to move the club forward which we undoubtedly have. The pair are ambitious and have never hidden the fact which success inevitably brings with it interest from other suitors.
What a fantastic year for the club with so many highs including games away at Margate & Billericay to Wycombe, a league club away from home. These memories will live long in the memory and really what non-league football is all about. This has elevated the club both on & off the field making the next appointment a challenge.
Thanks for the memories guys & good luck with your next chapter. I know Leatherhead FC will always give you good thoughts.’
