Boston United are gearing up for back-to-back away matches in National League North, fresh from Bank Holiday Monday’s 5-0 thrashing of Altrincham.

Craig Elliott’s side trounced the Robins at The Jakemans Stadium, just 48 hours after suffering their first defeat of the campaign at Gloucester City, and are now back on the road for a quickfire double-header.

The Pilgrims travel to Hereford FC on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) and Kettering Town on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

Jay Rollins and Jordan Thewlis complete their three-match suspensions on Saturday and will be back in contention for Tuesday’s visit to Latimer Park.

“I think when I have got players fit and available, I have got a good squad,” reflected Elliott following Monday’s victory over Altrincham.

“It’s been a bit fragmented over the last few weeks, which has not been great.”
